3. Eligibility and Recommendation Requirements:
Enrollment: Prospective students admitted for the Spring 2025 semester
Degree Programs: Master's, Doctoral, or Integrated Master's-Doctoral programs
Nationality: Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Philippines
Fields of Study: Business/Economics, Future industries (e.g., AI and Information Technology, Bio-health, Climate Technology and Energy-related fields), Korean Language/Korean Studies, Policy Studies/Public Development ※ Applicants should meet the scholarship program's support standards and demonstrate high potential for future development as outstanding new students.
Scholarship Benefits
1. Scholarship: Full tuition (including admission fee), monthly stipend of KRW 1,000,000 (KRW 12,000,000 annually), settlement allowance of KRW 2,500,000 (one-time only), and graduation encouragement grant of KRW 1,000,000 (one-time only).
2. Programs: Invitation to various foundation events, such as exchange camps and seminars with domestic students (as per foundation announcements).
3. Academic Performance Support: Funding for conference participation for international academic presentations, and recognition as an Outstanding Global Scholar (KRW 3,000,000 for first authorship of SCI-level papers or achieving 1st-2nd place in international competitions).
Support Period by Degree Program:
1. Master's Program: Up to 4 regular semesters
2. Integrated Master's-Doctoral Program: Up to 10 regular semesters
3. Doctoral Program: Up to 8 regular semesters ※ Support is limited to the maximum duration of regular semesters for each program. ※ Support during research semesters is possible after coursework completion within the regular semester duration.
