01 Support

  • Entire Tuition fee

    ● Master’s: Maximum 4 semesters including the research semester
    ● Doctorate: Maximum 8 semesters including the research semester
    ● Combined master’s and doctorate: Maximum 10 semesters including the research semester

  • Living and
    learning expenses

    ● KRW 1,000,000 per month

  • Settlement cost
    And Completion incentive

    ● Settlement cost:
    KRW 2,500,000
    (limited to one first time only)
    ● Completion Incentive:
    KRW 1,000,000
    (limited to one final time only)

    ● International Symposium scholarship
    : Support participation expenses
    (once a year, below 2.5 million won)
    ● Global scholarship of excellence
    : 3 million won/per person of scholarship (until 2 times)
    : 1 million won/per person of scholarship (more than 3 times)

    ● Scholarship certificate ceremony and cultural tour program
    ● Summer Camp (Korean/foreigner combined, 3 days and 2 nights)
    ● After returning home, networking meetings by country

  • Nurturing future generations of global leaders who will contribute to the joint development of Korea and ASEAN

Target Countries

  • 8 ASEAN countries (Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia)

  • Seoul National University, Korea University, Yonsei University, Hanyang University, KAIST (general graduate students)
  • KDI Graduate School of International Policy and Management, KAIST Graduate School of Management (former civil servants)

Support Areas

  • General graduate student: Management/Economics, Future Industry (Intelligence Information Technology, Biohealth, New Energy Industry), Korean Language/Korean Studies
  • Public officials of the relevant country: Management/Economics, Policy Studies/Public Development, etc.
03 Scholarship Student Selection
Selection Period

Twice a year (spring semester, fall semester)

Recommended for

Recommended by the university as an excellent student who has passed the graduate school of each partner university. [Target countries or 8 ASEAN countries] Students

Documents to be submitted

Application (foundation form) and supporting documents

Selection Procedure

Final selection after recommendation from each partner university and review by the foundation office
